CWH walk today around Tremeirchion led by Janet Eckersall, 5.5 miles with 12 of us altogether missing the rain but walking through muddy and wet and boggy fields, footpaths and tracks. Our walk today led by Martin and Maura, around Old Colwyn, Llysfaen, and Mynydd Marion. 10.6 km with 295 metres of total ascent. Fabulous weather, we were so lucky with the wind and rain we have had recently. 8 walkers enjoying coffee and gin and tonic cake before the walk, and then another drink at the brewery towards the end. Our walk yesterday led by our esteemed leader Robert Eckersall. Starting from the long layby in Llanferres and going through the woods up to Maeshafn, meeting up with Jackie and Linda who arrived slightly later than planned, continued up to Moel Findeg, having lunch and a drink on the top, and you can see Lin's cup.Calling into the Miners Arms pub in the village for a coffee before heading down back to the transport.
