A new walk starting from Nercwys, 5.5 miles and 627ft of ascent, 636ft of descent. There are a lot of stiles on this walk and 1 fairly steep road. With Nercwys having very limited parking we suggest the following.

Because of the limited parking, we need to know, a) if you are coming on the walk, b) where you want picking up so when you reply please give us 2 answers. (We need to know how many vehicles to bring to make sure you all get to the start.) Masks have to be worn in the minibuses.
It’s a lovely new walk and I’ll be posting a few photos on our Facebook page.
Looking forward to seeing you.

Our walk on Saturday will be starting from Llanasa car park. Those that would like a lift from the White House, Rhuallt, please be there ready to leave at 10am, those meeting at Llanasa meet for 10.30am start.
The walk is 6.25 miles in length and moderate, lots of hills not many downs. Plenty of awkward and wonky stiles. The total ascent is 827ft. A nice walk and in good weather plenty of views across the River Dee looking onto the Wirral and on the other side the mountains. We will be walking mostly over fields, bridle ways, footpaths and short distances on the side roads.
If you would like to come, please let Jackie know, and where you will be meeting us. Coffee will be served at the start in the car park.
Should you be contemplating joining us on the above walk can we suggest that long trousers are worn whatever the weather as, following the spell of hot and wet weather, some of the footpaths are somewhat overgrown with nettles etc and in the event of wet weather prior to the walk boots and gaiters will be an advantage to cope with the wet, long grass and muddy sections. Apart from that it is a pleasant walk.

Wednesday 4th August
This walk is an easy 6 to 6.5 miles in length. (So Janet tells me).
10am start from the large layby. Here are the directions. Drive through Llanrhaedra passed the garage and pub, past the new houses, past the right hand turn to Mynydd Lech and the layby yes on your right. Please park near to one another, don’t block the gate or entrance to the property. I know you won’t but there will probably be a lot of cars.
Let me know names please. Jackie.
If no room park by the school and walk down to the start.
